| Welcome to the electronic edition of February’s issue of Inside OR. I hope the new decade is treating you all well so far. I’d like to urge everyone to visit the ‘My OR Society’ section of our website to check to make sure all your details are correct, and to enter any updates that apply. We’ve had quite a few emails returned to us as ‘Undeliverable’ and we’re obviously keen to make sure we can get our information through to everyone. |
| The cover story features a link between OR and fiction. I’m sure clients occasionally feel our reports are works of fiction, but this is a genuine example!! I wouldn’t normally draw attention to an advert in this blurb, but since it’s for the OR Society, I’m sure you’ll indulge me. The new post of Education Officer is an exciting one, and confirms our commitment to getting OR recognised in schools. There’s plenty more to the role than interacting with schools, so we think it’s a key step in moving the Society forward. I hope you enjoy this issue.
