Please note, these files do not replace the printed handbook. It will distributed at registration.

The forty-seventh annual conference of The Operational Research Society is being held, for the first time, in the historic City of Chester, with its Roman remains, city walls, the river Dee and ancient galleries of exclusive shops – and a border with Wales just 2 miles away.

The conference location, the long-established University College Chester, with its ample free parking, is just a short walk from the centre. We have guidelines on how to find us. The Organising Committee have commissioned a wide range of Streams, most of which will contain a Keynote session of general appeal. At least three Plenary sessions by distinguished speakers will be included. Papers can be submitted on-line. The Social Programme will take advantage of the many attractions of Chester and it’s surroundings. There are still opportunities for organisations to offer Sponsorship and we are again planning an Exhibition to support the scientific programme. We look forward to welcoming you to Chester in September.
